Central Virginia United- Weekend Recap - November 4th & 5th

 

Central Virginia United is proud to announce that both our U16 and U19 Girls have been crowned NPL State Cup Champions for 2023! This is an incredible achievement for the teams, club growth and development of our female players.

This means that they have qualified for the East Coast playoffs in the Spring of 2024.

This upcoming weekend will see our 2009, 2008 and 2007 Boys competing for their respective State Cups. BRING HOME THE TROPHIES LADS.

Matchday Issues

Fortunately, gameday incidents were at a minimum. All fixtures that were played went without any major concerns. We are fortunate to experience three-man systems for officials. Something that has been a struggle throughout the league this season. 

 

Weather Issues 

Other than the heat, it was a pleasure to see our club complete with such wonderful weather in early November.

Academy Update

Our academy program played in-house games this weekend, while they finished up their final preparations for the Adidas Clash Tournament in Greensboro this weekend.
